The German group “Loud for Uyghurs“ have been organizing demonstrations in support of Uyghur people , against the Chinese policy of suppression and to call for the Boycott of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. One of such rallies wad held on the 10th of April in the city of Manheim and the next is happening now, on the 11th of April, in Munich. Some more than 100 young people attending todays demonstration. Mr. Enver Can, President of the Ilham Tohti Initiative, in his speech called for the closure of the local Confucius Institutes, citing its role in propagating the the CCP.
