中国全国两会进入第五天，当众多网友炮轰60年从未投过反对票的申纪兰、资历尚浅的90后铁飞燕和三度缺席的飞人刘翔时，中央民族大学教师伊力哈木·土赫提却把质疑的目光投向了为数不多的少数民族代表委员。
3月6日，伊力哈木在接受荷兰在线记者采访时表示，本届全国两会维吾尔族代表委员的比例明显不足，而种种迹象显示在过去的几年中维族人的政治地位正在下降。他建议当局应允许更多少数民族干部进入最高决策机构，提升政治参与度，让一千多万维族人发出自己的声音。
